Billy Harrison & Haywire Bluegrass Band
We are a Bluegrass Band comprised of a Brother/ Sister Duo featuring male and female lead vocals, high energy, great harmonies and excellent musicians.
After a 20 year hiatus Billy Harrison decided it is time to return to playing the music he so loved in his earlier years. With assistance from Terry Wittenberg and Billy’s “baby sister” Terry DiPaula they have formed a bond with tight harmonies and great musical arrangements along with instrumentation.
The band hails out of the old “bluegrass hot bed being the outskirts of Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD.
Performing with high energy they do not hang their hats on Traditional Bluegrass, but bend the rules to put themselves out on the edge with doing their own arrangements / compilations of some very familiar classic rock songs. That is where the “haywire” comes into play.
